Andrew Cepeda, The Green Knight of Real Estate, has been a licensed real estate agent in Colorado since January 2008. He earned his Associate Broker's license by attending Kaplan Real Estate College. Andrew also become EcoBroker Certified in July 2008 after becoming very actively involved in the renewable energy movement in the Denver business community.
Andrew is a Colorado native, born in Denver, who grew up in Lafayette and in Littleton. He was graduated from Heritage High School in 2003. After high school Andrew endeavored in studying Music at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and at Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA. When Andrew returned to Denver in late 2005, he quickly became involved in real estate after playing the game Cashflow, which teaches game players to use real estate as a vehicle to achieve financial freedom. Andrew partnered with a local real estate investor and began birddogging and learning the ropes of how to run a real estate investing business. It was after a few years that Andrew realized he should earn his real estate brokers license so he could become a real estate professional and be the guiding force behind real estate transactions. He was tired of simply sitting on the sidelines watching everyone else get a piece of the action.
Andrew was responsible for hosting Drive Green, an alternative fuel, electric, and hybrid vehicle show on campus, a Compact Flourescent Lamp (or CFL) Swap Out that switched over 250 incandescents to CFL's, and aided in the organization of three Sustainable Campus Fairs, 2 eletronics recycling events, and a tour of Solar Homes in the Denver metro area. Andrew was also the motioning representative of the approval of over $100,000 worth of recycling initiatives throughout the Auraria Campus! Andrew has been featured in over 20 printed news articles in various newspapers and magazines both on and off campus, and has appeared on numerous evening news pieces on Channel 7, 9, and Fox 31 news channels.
